Reflectance Fiber Optic

It is used to variety of applications including reflectance spectroscopy and colorimetry. Y-shaped optical fiber is used to record the reflectance and fluorescence spectra of the material. One tip is connected to the light source and the other tip to the spectrometer. The Sample tip of the optical fiber is placed vertically in front of the Sample surface and the light of the light source shines on the desired surface and also takes the reflected light to the spectrometer.
